Easy Beef Steak with Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless beef round steak, cut 1 inch thick
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 2 4 1/2 ounce jars whole mushrooms, drained
- 1 12-ounce jar beef gravy
- 1/4 cup dry red wine or apple juice

Cook: Low 8 to 10 Hours, High 4 to 5 Hours
Makes: 4 Servings

Directions:
- Trim any fat from meat. Cut meat into 4 serving-size pieces. Place onion slices in a 3 1/2 or 4 quart slow cooker. Arrange mushrooms over onions; add meat. Stir together gravy and wine; pour over meat.
- Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 8 to 10 hours or on high-heat setting for 4 to 5 hours.
For a 5 - 6-quary cooker: Recipe can be doubled. Makes 8 servings.
