Directions:
- In a large skillet cook beef and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender, stirring occasionally and leaving a few large pieces of beef. Drain off fat.
- In a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker place the beef mixture, chili beans with gravy, salsa, refried beans, beer, chili powder, and cumin.
- Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 6 to 8 hours or on high heat setting for 3 to 4 hours. Just before serving, stir lime juie into chili. Ladle chili into bowls. If desired, garnish with sour cream.
